Our client are seeking a driven Software Engineer proficient in Python and C++. In this role, you will play a crucial part in projects contributing to the development of software for label-free biosensing instruments. The position is ideal for candidates with 5+ years of experience who are eager to work on cutting-edge technical projects in a highly multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities: Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for label-free biosensing instruments, primarily using Python and C++. Matlab Integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate Matlab components and algorithms into software applications. Testing and Optimization: Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization of software applications. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and often international teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to achieve project objectives. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of software designs, specifications, and testing procedures. Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Wat jij mee brengt

About you:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, including proficiency in Python and C++. Experience with Matlab is a plus. Familiarity with software development best practices.
• Matlab Experience: Experience with Matlab for scientific and engineering applications is a plus.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
